Margaret E. Brown, MSW, LCSW, SSW

Margaret E Brown is a licensed clinical social worker in NJ, FL, and VA who received a AS in Addictions Counseling from Camden County College, a BSW, and a MSW from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Margaret has over 14 years of experience serving individuals and families who are addressing various emotional difficulties and life stressors. Her practice specialties include, but are not limited to, working with individuals with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and Trauma. She provides training to the patent's of children that have experienced trauma via ARC Grow through the NJ System of Care/ PerformCare and intensive in-home/community therapy using Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to youth. Margaret is also a NJ Department of Education certified School Social Worker with special interest in providing special services advocacy. Her goal is to empower others through psycho-education, skill building, and emotional processing to begin the process toward healing. She recognizes and values the cultural, lived, and environmental experiences that shape each person’s life. These influences are thoughtfully integrated into her therapeutic approach, helping to create a compassionate, culturally responsive, and individualized practice.
